This Spring will be 2 years that I have been going to PRS. You will NOT find a better place to workout or family friendly atmosphere anywhere else around. The coaches are great and are nothing but professional!

Barry Pepper – Owner/CEO

You could say Barry has a life calling to teach. He spent several years coaching youth hockey in Minnesota before entering a career as a PGA Golf Professional. During Barry’s time as a PGA Golf Professional his patience, passion and nurturing personality made his students easily absorb his philosophy and enjoy his lessons. In 2011 he found CrossFit and he was hooked immediately. He couldn’t get enough of the workouts, read enough about the sport or watch enough of the videos. Barry became a CrossFit Level 1 Trainer so he could share his love of fitness with others. He felt his calling in fitness was much larger, he opened CrossFit Port Royal Sound at Pepper Fitness to help others in their fitness journey.

Erica Pepper – Owner/Coach

Erica’s full-time career is and has always been in private country clubs, once you have spent some time with her you will see why hospitality is the perfect fit to her poised, gracious personality. She spent ten years of her youth dancing her way around her small southern town. She was trained in tap, en pointe, jazz, acrobats, modern ballet and clogging. During her youth adult years she was a state champion weightlifter in Florida, captain of her cheer team, and a tennis player. In search of continuing her active lifestyle she went to a globo gym, Zumba classes, biked, swam, and rollerbladed, but nothing struck her fancy. After a year of yoga she began to dabble in CrossFit, she fell head over heals in love with the sport. Erica never thought her weightlifting history would be relevant but it was a perfect resurrection for this amazing sport sweeping the hearts of the world.
